YOUTH GROUP:

Junior & Senior High, grades 6-12

Every Sunday

Join us every Sunday in the Parish Hall for FUN, FOOD, FELLOWSHIP, & LEARNING. Make sure to wear comfy clothes because we will be hanging-out, playing games, snacking, and discussing how God relates to us and today's world.

Vision for St. Margaret's Youth Group:

To follow God's Will and with HIS help show our Youth, through the discussion we have each week, building relationships with each other by use of games, fun activities that happen each week along with reaching out to the community doing different services and striving to live Christian Life model by teachings of the BIBLE, that each Youth will have a closer relationship with Christ.

OUR ROLES AS PARENTS & ADULTS AT ST. MARGARET'S

is to reach out to our youth to help and guide them so they learn how to have a relationship with Christ. The Youth Group is one of the places that is safe for them and where all we teach our Youth can be shown.

Youth News

WOW! A new year; 2007 went so fast and all of you are so AWESOME! This new year will be one with lots of activities and adventures.

Christmas Caroling at Governor's Creek Nursing Home and The Oaks was wonderful: 28 people (9 car fulls!) joined in to sing carols. We were greeted with many happy faces as we sang and handed out the 'Love Bundles' donated by so many people at our Parish. Our "Traveling Youth Band" - Mike Tanner, Will DiGiovanni, Jimmy Merritt, Ben Henderson, Anthony Herzog, and Jake Starnes - added to the festivities. Thank you to everyone who participated.

During the Youth Progressive Christmas Party we enjoyed food, laughter (Alexis's crazy present!), fellowship, and the Christmas Spirit. Thank you to Lee & Bill DiGiovanni, Brenda & Bill Dufford, Pat & Paul Tanner, Faith Conkle, Ann Lacey, Sue & Tom Merritt, Deedie Kennedy, Sue Starnes, Dawn Couble, Joy Harvey, and Fr. Ken for making the night such a huge success.
